Welcome to the website of the Euro-Atlantic Association of Belgium.
Our aim is to inform you: who are we, what are we doing, what are our objectives. We sincerely hope that you will find what you are looking for. If not, your suggestions are welcome. Do not hesitate to let us know.
This is only a beginning: we would indeed like to enter into a dialogue with you about our main concern: security and peace in Europe and in the rest of the world. We would also like to cooperate with the organisations which have responsibilities in the field of Atlantic solidarity that link together the free countries and the European Union. One must not forget that the various European countries have been divided and were fighting against each other during ages. The aim of the European Union is to bring peace in the region.
Security and peace are not automatically guaranteed. International crisis and tensions can be very dangerous and in a global world distances are vanishing. But attention should also be paid to positive evolutions. Not everything is going wrong. But it is not because a reconciliation process is underway in Europe that the same is happening everywhere else.
The future is principally represented by the students. We can help those that are interested in international relations. We are developing our network so as to provide comments and advice about their work documents and possible studies.
